    Hi,

I was curious about your waterproof bags. Did you have any issues attaching them to the bulky Pedego bike rack?

Hello There! Yes, we did have fit problem, we had to swap out the clip on the back with one that was wider. We changed it with our multi-tool and it clipped snug on the top rails, we use a plastic zip tie for the clip on the bottom to give it a snug fit in case we hit a hard bump.

Thank you for the info. My Trail Tracker just came today and I will be needing bags.

Also, when you shipped it, did you have any issues with the battery?

I read Southwests policy on shipping bicycles and it used the term non-motorized.

Oh, also, good luck in your adventure.

        Thanks,
        -Taft

    Hello There Taft,
Great Question about traveling with a lithium Ion battery. Given the size of the battery, it is not supposed to travel on commercial airlines. We removed the battery from the e-bike and shipped them separately to our hotel. The bicycle was shipped by itself in a box without the battery.
